Lead Credit Policy
QuinStreet understands that a Vendor may receive a lead that does not meet the expected standards of our community of vendors. It is our belief that our vendors as a community are the best police of quality and therefore we expect you to return leads that do not meet the standards below. Return data is important because we use this information to modify our traffic sources to find the best possible leads.
Therefore, please return a lead when it meets one of the acceptable reasons for returns. We will evaluate it relative to the below criteria to determine whether it qualifies as a reason for returning a lead. In addition, because we believe that the community is a better evaluator of quality, if we find that a majority of vendors returned the lead, everybody who returned it will automatically receive credit for this lead. Please note that a high return rate beyond comparative vendors by any one vendor will affect the volume of leads received by that vendor in the future.
To be considered for credit, returns must be submitted within 48 business hours of the lead being posted to your QuoteCatcher.com account. To request a lead credit, please fill out the Lead Credit Request Form . Upon receipt of the lead credit request, our credit team will review your request within 30 days to determine if the lead qualifies for a credit. If it does, a lead credit will be posted to your current invoice for the amount of the lead fee and a confirmation email will be sent. If it does not qualify, you will receive an email with an explanation for the decline. Lead credits are in the form of an account credit and will not be issued as a refund to your credit card under any circumstance. In other words your next lead would be at no charge if it is of the same value.
TYPICAL REASONS FOR RETURNING A LEAD REQUEST:
· The lead request does not meet the parameters set-up in your vendor criteria corresponding to the category the lead is for (e.g. Volume does not meet requested criteria, geographic constraints etc).
· The contact information provided in the lead request proves to be inaccurate (e.g. Wrong phone number, incorrect email address, or false contact name, make it impossible to contact customer).
· The lead request was placed by a company in the same industry in effort to gain competitive intelligence or if it is a job seeker or student doing research.
· The lead request is a duplicate to another lead recently received. (Credit will only be provided if the lead contains identical contact information and is for the same services as requested in the first lead.)
ACCEPTABLE REASONS FOR RETURNING A LEAD REQUEST FROM THE LEAD BOARD
· The contact information provided in the lead request proves to be inaccurate. (e.g. Wrong phone number, incorrect email address, or false contact name, make it impossible to contact customer)
· The lead request is a duplicate to another lead recently received. (Credit will only be provided if the lead contains identical contact information and is for the same services as requested in the first lead.)
· The lead request was placed by a company in the same industry in effort to gain competitive intelligence.
UNACCEPTABLE REASONS FOR RETURNING A LEAD REQUEST:
· Being unable to contact the buyer is not a valid reason for a credit. Often, a buyer does not return messages after they select a vendor. It is very costly to obtain and qualify these leads so we cannot give credits for reasons outside of our control.
· Vendor does not retrieve lead request in a timely fashion and does not wish to be charged for lead. QuoteCatcher.com cannot be responsible for the time frame or frequency in which vendors monitor their online account and or follow-up with lead requests.
· For lead board purchased leads, a lead that has already purchased a solution is not an acceptable return
METHOD OF RETURNING LEADS
Lead Requests can be returned by accessing the RETURN LEAD submission form. You can access this form when you are logged into your account and viewing the lead you wish to return, click on the Return Lead box in the right column. Upon accessing the RETURN LEAD form, vendors must:
· Provide the lead number that wish to return and the date it was received
· Provide full detail as to the reason for the return
· Submit the form for review.
APPROVAL PROCESS OF RETURNED LEAD REQUEST
Vendors will receive a confirmation outlining that QuoteCatcher.com has received their Lead Return Request via the Vendor Message Board available in your account.
Should a lead request be approved as a return, a message notifying you will appear in your online Vendor Message Board and a credit will be added to your account for the cost of the lead in question.
Should QuoteCatcher.com decline to return the lead request in question, a message notifying you will appear in your online Vendor Message Board and no credited will be provided for the lead request. QuoteCatcher reserves the right to refuse any credit request. The above are guidelines. The average credit request percentage for all categories is approximately 5%. QuoteCatcher may cancel an account due to excessive credit requests. QuoteCatcher reserves the right to change this Lead Credit Policy at any time without notice.
